Theory of a Deadman Review

The Theory of a Deadman show at the Ogden Theatre proved to be a good time to be had by all (including the hemp smokers in the front row!). This was a rock and roll show that did not disappoint. Nothing less could be expected from this rockin' band.

The set list included slow ballads to please the ladies like "By the Way" and "All or Nothing" and more popular hits like "Santa Monica," "Nothing Could Come Between Us," and "Bad Girlfriend." Tyler Connolly belted out the songs with his strong pipes and charismatic stage prescence. I overheard one very intoxicated lady say she would divorce her husband if Tyler came calling. Never a dull moment at these rock shows that we review.

By the end of the evening, the crowd was rockin', dancin', and singing along to the songs that have become radio hits. Here at BSD we have never understood the comparison of this unbelievable band to Nickelback. Hey, we love Nickelback too but know Theory can definitely hold their own. Check them out next time they come to town.
